Welcome to Nipponcart (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing nipponcart.com (the “Site”) or using our services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms are divided into:
- Part A - Proxy Shopping Service Terms (we buy on your behalf from Japan and ship to you)
- Part B - Nipponcart Store Terms (we sell items we stock directly)
- Part C - General Provisions (apply to both Parts A & B)
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Site or Services.
Part A - Proxy Shopping Service Terms
A1. Service Description
- We act as a buying/forwarding agent in Japan, purchasing goods from third-party sellers on your instructions and shipping them to your designated address.
- We do not manufacture, own, or warrant third-party goods purchased on your behalf.
A2. Orders
- Orders are placed via our Site (or approved channels). After payment confirmation, we proceed to purchase from the seller.
- Orders generally cannot be changed or canceled once we purchase the item(s), unless we explicitly agree.
A3. Fees, Pricing & Payments
- Your total may include item cost, domestic JP shipping, our service fee, packaging/consolidation (if any), and international shipping.
- Full payment is required before purchase. Prices and fees may change without notice until paid.
A4. Shipping & Delivery
- Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Delays from carriers, customs, or external events are outside our control.
- You must provide an accurate, complete shipping address.
A5. Customs, Duties & Taxes
- You are the importer of record and are responsible for any duties, taxes, and customs fees.
- We are not liable for packages delayed, inspected, or seized by customs.
A6. Returns & Refunds
- Returns to Japanese sellers are typically not available unless the seller permits it and you cover associated costs.
- Our service and shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Refunds are considered only if we fail to process your order as agreed.
A7. Prohibited/Restricted Items
- You must ensure the requested items are legal for export from Japan and import into your country. We may refuse orders for restricted or hazardous items.
A8. Liability (Proxy)
- We are not responsible for product authenticity, quality, or fitness; any claims lie with the original seller.
- Our total liability for the Proxy Shopping Service is limited to the service fees paid for the affected order.
Part B - Nipponcart Store Terms
B1. General Store Use
- You confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction, or have parental/guardian consent.
- You will not use the Store for unlawful purposes or transmit malicious code.
- Breaches may result in immediate suspension or termination.
B2. Products & Services
- Some items are available online only and in limited quantities. Availability is not guaranteed.
- We strive to present accurate descriptions and images but cannot guarantee your device’s display (e.g., color) will be exact.
- We may discontinue products at any time. Offers are void where prohibited.
B3. Prices & Payments
- Prices can change without prior notice.
- Payment must be completed before dispatch.
- We may refuse or cancel orders (e.g., suspected reseller/bulk purchases). We’ll attempt to notify you using your checkout contact details.
B4. Billing, Account & Accuracy
- You must provide and promptly update accurate billing/shipping details and payment information.
- Orders delayed or undeliverable due to inaccurate information are your responsibility.
B5. Shipping & Delivery
- Available methods and estimated times are shown at checkout.
- We are not liable for carrier/customs delays.
- Duties, taxes, and import fees are your responsibility.
B6. Returns & Refunds (Store)
- You may request a refund only in the following situations:
- Your order arrived damaged or defective
- It was never delivered (after 60 days)
- You received the wrong item or it doesn’t match the description
- Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase, in case of case 1 or 3. Please use the contact form and include clear photos or videos showing the issue.
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method for the affected portion of your payment.
- Refunds will not be issued for:
- Buyer’s change of mind after payment.
- Delays in domestic or international shipping.
- Customs issues, including returned or confiscated items
- Please note: initiating a payment dispute or chargeback after using our service violates our terms and may result in account suspension.
B7. Optional Tools & Third-Party Links
- Access to third-party tools/sites is provided “as is” and at your discretion. We don’t control or endorse third-party content and are not responsible for related transactions.
B8. User Feedback & Submissions
- If you submit feedback, ideas, or materials, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable right to use and publish them without compensation.
- You are responsible for your submissions and must not violate others’ rights or applicable law.
B9. No Warranties (Store)
- Except where stated, products and Store services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties, express or implied.
B10. Liability Cap (Store)
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
- For Store purchases, our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant product.
Part C - General Provisions (Apply to Parts A & B)
C1. Site Use & Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for unlawful purposes;
- Infringe IP rights;
- Harass or discriminate;
- Upload malware;
- Scrape or circumvent security;
- Submit false/misleading information.
C2. Accuracy, Changes & Availability
- We may update content, suspend features, or discontinue parts of the Services at any time without notice.
- The Site may contain historical information provided for reference only.
C3. Errors & Omissions
- We may correct typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including pricing, availability, shipping charges, transit times) and cancel or update orders accordingly.
C4. Intellectual Property
- The Site and its content (logos, text, images, designs) are owned by or licensed to Nipponcart. You may not copy, modify, or exploit content without our written consent.

C6. Disclaimers (Service Level)
- We do not guarantee the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that results will be accurate or reliable.
C7. Limitation of Liability (General)
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Overall liability limits described in Parts A & B apply.
C8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nipponcart, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or violation of law/third-party rights.
C9. Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
C10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for breaches of these Terms. Obligations accrued before termination survive.
C11. Entire Agreement; No Waiver
These Terms and referenced policies are the entire agreement between you and Nipponcart regarding the Services. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
C12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Courts in Fukuoka, Japan have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.
